Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a lovely traditional Moroccan feel in the rooms with working air conditioning, which was a blessing. However, there is no WiFi or even phone signal. The location is quite remote, almost an hour away from the city center in a very small and poor village surrounded by dangerous dirt tracks. The dining options were disappointing with very limited choices. On the bright side, the service was friendly and welcoming, especially from the kitchen staff.
I arrived at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable rooms. The Moroccan decor added a special touch, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The internet connection was perfect, which was a big plus for me. The heating worked great, especially beneficial for smokers like myself. However, the location in an extremely poor village was a bit of a shock at first, but the shuttle service made it easy to get to the city. The service from the staff was exceptional, always kind and open, although I did notice some people asking for money in the hotel car park with no intervention from the staff. The dining options could have been improved with more variety, as the choices were quite limited. Despite some minor drawbacks, the overall value for money was good.
The hotel had some comfortable rooms but was very cold in the winter even with the heating. The service was wonderfully warm and attentive, with staff speaking French and being very helpful. The location was peaceful but far from the city, although a free shuttle to Marrakech was provided. The dining experience was basic with limited options. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives.
